Dietra Kelsey is host and producer of Sistah Talk TV Show, a talk variety show which features African American Women discussing politics, hot topics, entertainment and events in our community. She wrote,  Produced and performed a one woman show ZORA SPEAKS about the life of the anthropologist, Zora Neale Hurston and PASSAGE about the civil rights movement. Last March, her writing was showcased for the event LETTERS TO OUR DAUGHTERS produced by Billie Holiday Theatre, and Frank Silvera Workshops curated by playwright and MacArthur Fellow Dominique Morriseau (writer of the Broadway show – Ain’t too Proud to Beg) in New York and Los Angeles in March 2019. She moderated a segment of The Frederick Douglass Continuum 2019: Echoes of Our Ancestors produced by Tammie Tyree.

She is delighted to premiere her staged gospel musical "WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON?" about gang and gun violence at Goddard RiversideBernie Wohl Center.   

Steve Wallace - Music Composer

Steve Wallace is a singer and composer from Chicago IL and most recently a composer with BMI’s high profile Lehman Engel Workshop for composers and lyricists. His professional expertise incorporates a plethora of genres and styles from Soul, Hip Hop, Blues and Classical. In the span of his career, Mr. Wallace has released 12 of his own albums independently as an artist, produced, performed and written on over 100 albums with credits including Ledisi, Ghostface Killah of the Wu Tang Clan, De La Soul, and Eric Roberson, as well as gaining nods from the likes of Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Just Blaze and others for his fantastic and creative ideas. He was also a go to man for production and music direction in New York City on the Independent New York music scene for over a decade. Steve has shared stages with Robin Thicke, Common, Talib Kweli, and Leon Ware. He has created scores for television and film on MTV, BET, NBC, arranged version of Lift Every Voice and Sing for the NAACP, worked with Sony Music, The Universal Music Group, and in 2010 he was the producer and arranger for the incredible song Be a Humanitarian, which was used as the theme for the United Nation’s “Humanitarian Day” as well as in the running for Grammy Awards the same year.

 

As a classical composer, Steve Wallace has written a book of 15 art songs, 2 symphonies, 4 operas, 2 musicals and a variety of chamber works for various instruments. Mr. Wallace is also a very accomplished classical singer and has performed worldwide as a soloist, on tours, and as lead tenor roles in operas such as Carmen, La Boheme, and La Traviata with respected Opera Companies Nationwide.

Rhonda McCelland, Producer, Director, and Entrepreneur: The Choir Loft, On Edge Talk Show, Get to know me, and B.A.R. Rhonda McCelland was born and raised in New York City, she attended New York College of Technology, Borough Manhattan Community and Chaney University. As the producer of the Choir Loft, the life and times of the Gospel Singer, she likes to tell a story of the music through the eyes of the singer. How Gospel is the root, and how it evokes feeling.

Rhonda has made several short films, one she is best known for is a film called “The Finest Romeo” a Controversial film on advocacy of the sex work industry. She tells the story of a young male stripper who talks about  his life and stripping as a profession.

Rhonda is currently working on a film called “Memoirs of a Male Porn Star”. She has worked on several shows at Noshing with Nina, Sistah Talk and Astrology Numerology Now and many more. As she embarks on a new role as associate producer of the off Broadway play “Who’s side are you on”. Rhonda likes to call her work “On both ends of the spectrum”, which it truly is.
